I'm Tony Danjun Wang (王丹君), a PhD Student at the Chair of Computer-Aided Medical Procedures (CAMP) at the Technical University of Munich, supervised by Prof. Nassir Navab. I work on multi-camera 3D perception and generative modeling: understanding people and scenes in 3D, often in the operating room.
Away from research, I spend my time at the piano, in the pool, and occasionally on call as a trained paramedic. More in Off-Hours. •ᴗ•

TopoOR: A Unified Topological Scene Representation for the Operating Room
Instead of flattening the operating room into a scene graph of pairwise links, TopoOR models it as a higher-order structure that keeps different modalities such as 3D geometry, audio, and robot kinematics separate.

DisPOSE: Projected Polystochastic Diffusion for Self-Supervised Multi-View 3D Human Pose Estimation
Estimates 3D human poses from multiple cameras with no 3D supervision data. The key idea is to treat cross-view person matching as a diffusion process. It holds up under heavy occlusion and works across different camera setups.

Beyond Role-Based Surgical Domain Modeling: Generalizable Re-Identification in the Operating Room
Identifies individual staff in the operating room from their 3D shape and motion instead of their appearance, which barely changes under standardized scrubs. The goal is to stop treating people as interchangeable roles and start modeling who they are and how they work together.
